More head paintings!

Head Painting #10 –  July ‎28, ‎2019 – bbq with friends

This was a group of old friends and new that had gathered or a BBQ! I am involved with community musical theatre, and our group had a welcoming BBQ for the new cast and crew! I had an empty head so I brought my “Go Bag” (filled with painting supplies) just in case! It was a great way to break the ice! I had about 20+ people painting my head that afternoon!

Head Painting #11 – August 1, 2019 – under the sea

Another creation by Nadia at Hokey Pokey! This was another spectacularly detailed painting. I even took a wander downtown and had fun taking shots at Ripley’s for the fun of it!

Head Painting #12 – August 5th, 2019 – peacock

This was Susan’s first of many incredibly detailed head paintings! The talent she showed in this head painting still leaves me speechless…

Head Painting #13 – August 12th, 2019 – hummingbird

This was the day that CBC came and filmed Susan painting my head. It was the beginning of a busy period as my head art started gaining attention.

Head painting #14 – August 16th, 2019 – funky hair

This was done only a few days after the hummingbird was filmed. I had gotten called in by the hospital for an MRI and it was then realized, glitter (all over the bird and flowers) could not go into the MRI for safety reasons. Lot’s of baby wipes that morning and some bald spots on my head prompted an emergency quick head painting! Thus, the Funky Hair! It was a fun recovery!!!

Head painting #15 – August 18th, 2019 Dragon protecting it’s treasures

Mother/daughter duo, Carmen and Cynthia got together to paint and we decided to play with some gems! The dragon is curled up on my head and protecting it’s gems and treasures…. between small gems glued to my head and the sparkles, plus the beautiful dragon, it was a fun and fantastic week! And, no, I don’t feel the gems on my head when I sleep and they didn’t fall off until I took them of later in the week!  It was a great way to run the experiment with the gems for a head painting we were planning down the line.

Head painting #16 – August 26th,  2019 – Frozen Theme

This was painted by a friend who wasn’t sure she wanted to. It can be a bit daunting to paint someones head. I’m so glad she decided to take the chance!!! I was so thrilled to spend the afternoon with she and her 4 year old who also helped to add the pink to my head!  Here daughter did my nails while mom painted my head! What a fun and fabulous day and look!!!

head painting #17 – September 1, 2019 – Tree of life

Emily had something special in mind when she took on the challenge and it ended up just stunning! Another special painting!

Was worthy of a special trip to the Zoo and photos with some of the animals!

Head painting #18 – September 6, 2019 – Koi fish

This was done for the filming with Global News and Susan Hey. It was an amazing painting, done once again by Susan Ambrose!

head painting #19 – September 10, 2019 – Australian hands

A dear friend was visiting from Australia and decided to do a special piece that incorporated the hand prints of her self and her children. Such a special day and the time with them meant the world to me!
